Little Star Sleep Solutions emerged from struggling to get my first child to sleep and to reclaim time with my spouse. I was at an all-time low and worrying like I was never going to feel like myself again.
I strongly believe that there is no "one way" of getting a child to sleep. Just as every family is different, so is every sleep plan. I provide custom sleep plans for you and your family. I will learn all I can about your family, your baby and your parenting style and together we will come up with a plan that will work for you!
Then, I support you through this change. As an exhausted parent, it's really easy to second guess every decision and worry that you are doing things "wrong". I will be with you every step of the way as we work through your customised plan and make changes as necessary. You will never have to wonder or guess what your next step will be, the plan will be completely clear and easy to follow.

My Sleep Philosophy
Whether you're a new parent just starting on your sleep journey, or you've been struggling with your child's sleep for years, I'm here to help! I firmly believe that your plan needs to suit your parenting style, as such, I promise to never ask you to do something you're not comfortable with.
When parents entrust me as their child’s “sleep guide,” either through one-on-one consultations or seminars, they are placing a great deal of trust in me, and I take this responsibility very seriously.
While most books and programs dealing with child sleep issues take philosophical stands (based largely around the issue of “crying it out”), I believe that your child’s sleep is more important than my own personal views on this subject.
That’s why my strategy places so much emphasis on accommodating different parenting styles. The bottom line is that you, as a parent, need to be comfortable with your new sleep plan in order for it to work for your child.
A Little Note About “Cry It Out”
Crying relating to changes in sleep is something I get asked about every day. It deserves to be addressed here.
Please understand that I will never ask you to leave your child to cry alone, nor will I ask you to ignore their cries. The reason that our method is so effective is that it lets you develop a plan that you feel comfortable with, based on what you know about your child. We optimize your child’s schedule and choose the best method to minimize crying as much as possible. There are three particular areas we focus on to reduce the amount of fussing that may go on: timing the sleep appropriately, ensuring the routine is effective and responding in a helpful way.
